Mobility Device Services
Many SCT vehicles are equipped with mobility device lifts and tie-downs for persons with mobility impairments. Inform our Scheduling/Dispatching department (800-660-7433) of your special needs when scheduling transportation.
Clients utilizing a mobility device can if desired remain in the device while being transported. SCT drivers will not transfer clients from mobility device to a bus seat under any circumstances. Client ramps must meet ADA guidelines for SCT employees to provide door to door service. For new clients, it's recommended a home assessment be performed prior to any scheduled service. All mobility devices will be secured at all four corners utilizing the 4 point restraint system.
