Independence Day is also referred to as the 4th of July, which is a federal holiday in the United States of America and commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. Independence Day is often celebrated with fireworks, fairs or carnivals, picnics and barbecues. Everyone at South Central Transit wish you all a safe and memorable Independence Day / 4th of July. SCT will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 in observance of the National Day of the United States.
