The following is information was received from Human Resource of Continental Tire, Mt. Vernon: Other than Warehouse Workers, the 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. and 11 p.m. – 7 a.m. shifts have been shut down for today, Thursday, May 17, 2018. If you work in the warehouse you must call your department to verify if you are to report to work today. This due to a water main break at the Rend Lake Water System. South Central Transit shuttle routes will continue normal operation of all routes.
