“Phenomenal Drivers” “The people at SCT have a heart” “They’re not just drivers, they are my friends”
These are just a few of the sentiments that were recently shared by Rev. Dr. JK Gullen regarding his interaction with SCT.
As a former longtime Centralia resident and Clergyman, it’s certain that there are a great number of you that have been touched by the friendship, blessings, and outpouring of genuineness that Dr. Jim demonstrates.
Dr. Jim shared that he has MS which hinders his ability to drive. But that doesn’t stop him from working at Dollar General, volunteering at the Matthew 25 Food Pantry, meeting his friends for coffee or using the SCT shuttle connections to get to Centralia to play a round of golf with his son! He uses the South Central Transit shuttles exclusively to help retain his independence. Dr. Jim would like to share his wisdom of SCT with the people in our community, especially the senior citizens of Clinton County and to let them know that the SCT drivers, his friends, are some of the nicest people he’s ever been associated with and they genuinely care about the people they are providing services to!
Sincere thanks to you Dr. Jim, for sharing your compassion, your compliments, your appreciation and respect of public transportation but most importantly for your dedication to SCT.
