We would like to introduce you to Ken Karbach. Ken has been with South Central Transit since 2015 and drives both public demand and Community Link routes in Clinton County. Ken recently shared that he really enjoys all his passengers especially the Community Link clients and monitors.

Ken also spoke of his coworkers and supervisors with the utmost of respect and is very fond of them all. He likes to stay busy with projects on the side such as woodworking and electrical. Ken said he specifically likes driving and competing in the annual bus roadeo. In 2015, after just a few short weeks with SCT, Ken competed at the SCT Bus Roadeo and took 1^st place overall and 1^st place in the pre-trip category. At the annual State of Illinois Rural Transit Assistance Center (RTAC) Roadeo in 2017 Ken placed 3^rd overall, in 2018 he placed 1^st in driving, 2^nd overall and most recently in 2019 he also placed 1^st in driving and 2^nd overall.

It was shared that Ken is very good with all the clients he transports, he’s as professional as they come no matter what he’s doing and that he is a great asset to SCT.
