Recently, I phoned South Central Transit to inquire about transportation to the Perry County Health Department in Pinckneyville for COVID-19 vaccines for my wife and I. We have used SCT before so when we were contacted about receiving our vaccines, they were my first call.  We were so relieved to learn that they could provide us with the scheduled services and even more relieved that I wouldn’t have to get someone else to give us a ride and possibly risk a chance on not getting there.

My wife and I realize that getting the vaccine is a personal choice but it was so very important to us and we would like to encourage others to consider getting the vaccine. You don’t have to use SCT to get there but I will tell you that we are really pleased with the safe and courteous SCT driver and we are so so thankful for South Central Transit and the ongoing great service they provide.
