Meet Peri! Peri has been with South Central Transit as a Franklin County driver for 8 years. She currently drives a part-time B.C.M.W. Headstart route.  Her supervisor shared that “even though she is pat-time she is always ready to help out when needed”. 

We asked Peri what she enjoys most about SCT? She loves interacting with “the littles” on the Headstart routes and meeting new clients when driving the public routes. She shared that one of the most challenging aspects of her job would probably be finding some of the new addresses and dealing with traffic. One of the most significant changes Peri has seen while employed with SCT is the addition of new routes or if existing routes change.

Peri loves to read and bake in her time away from SCT and also enjoys decorating tumblers. She’s not a huge sports fan but does cheer on the little league team her grandson is playing on. Becoming a grandmother was a definite “life highlight” for Peri.

We also asked Peri, if you were to put a tag line on your life, what would it be? The journey is it’s own reward!
