South Central Transit Spotlight is shining on Ed Rule. Ed is a Clinton County driver and has been with SCT just under 14 years.
Ed shared with us that one of the things he enjoys most about his role at South Central Transit is all the people he gets to meet along the way.
We asked Ed what part of his job at SCT is most challenging? His response was “the electronics, computers are not my friend!” And we hear this quite often! Ed says that one of the most significant changes he has witnessed while at SCT is the transition to using Tablets on the buses in place of the mobile data terminals (MDT) and the installation of security cameras.
Ed shared with us that his activities outside of work include spending time with his 4 year old granddaughter and his favorite sport team to follow is the Kansas City Chiefs. He also shared that he likes to be surprised as to where his transportation route takes him each day, and that he is very dependable.
One of the questions we always ask in our Employee Spotlight is, are there any life highlights you’d like to share? Ed’s reply, I am a Vietnam Veteran and proud of it! Thank you, Ed for your service to our Country and your dedication to SCT and our clients.
South Central Transit extends our utmost respect and sincere thanks to all Vietnam Veterans.
